01. Digital Twin and IoT in Manufacturing
Leading a project exploring the role of Digital Twins and IoT in a manufacturing facility adopting a Circular Economy approach.
02. Multi-scale Digital Twin
Developing a multi-scale digital twin to support projects focused on smart building, bioreactor optimization, and ecological tracking of lakes.
03. Collaboration with TUBITAK and METU
Jointly running the Smart City Excellence Center project with TUBITAK and Middle East Technical University (METU), involving 11 projects related to smart cities and innovative technologies.
04. Innovation for Sustainable Urban Development
Contributing to the SUIT Platform's vision of developing human-oriented and sustainable technologies for smart city infrastructure by leading a project focusing on spatial data analytics and IoT process integration technology for the circular economy. This 3-year project will involve collaboration with TU Delft, who will be joining in the second year.
About SUIT
SUIT (Sustainable Urbanization Through Innovative Technologies) Research Program was supported by the Center of Excellence Support Program 2021 Call. SUIT has created a synergy by bringing together universities (METU, ESOGU, Işık University), large companies (VESTEL Electronics, Ulak Haberleşme), leading R&D institutions (ODTÜ-GÜNAM) and SMEs (Kuartis, JeoIT) that are actively producing in our country. The plan is to transform this synergy into a long-term institutional structure that will reduce Turkey’s technological dependence on foreign sources.
